Press room

Love in Room is an independent platform for love rooms in France, launched by a three-person team. No commission, no hidden affiliation, an editorial selection we own. Journalists are welcome to reach out for an interview, a figure, a visual, or simply to fact-check a detail.

Pitch in three lines

Quotable as is.

Love in Room is an editorial platform for love rooms in France, launched in 2026 by three independents. The site gathers private suites with jacuzzis, themed rooms, and lodgings designed for two, hand-picked and sorted by region, city and ambience.

The model is public and fits in one sentence: hosts subscribe monthly, travellers book directly, and no commission is taken on transactions.

The editorial stance steps away from generalist platforms: no affiliation tracking on outbound links, a three-person team that reviews every listing, and a deliberately narrow selection instead of a mass catalogue.

Mini-interview

Three short questions for the team, quotable as is.

In one sentence, what makes you different from a standard platform?

We do not earn a single cent on what travellers pay our hosts. Our only revenue is the monthly subscription. That removes any incentive to bend the ranking.

Why pick such a narrow model?

Because the quality of an editorial selection comes from careful re-reading, not from how much you publish. We would rather publish less and be able to speak about every listing than stack up a catalogue we never reviewed.

What will Love in Room look like in five years?

Honestly, we do not know. We aim for a reference platform in France and two neighbouring countries, with a traveller review system and proper availability sync. Not a unicorn, just a reliable, well-kept site.

Tone

Editorial, sober, factual. No superlatives, no slogans. The visuals follow the same logic: clean photography, tight framing, very little overlay typography.

The site's own editorial iconography, separate from accommodation photos provided by hosts, rests on a deliberate visual metaphor: fruits (banana, grapefruit, clementine, chilli, etc.) repurposed to evoke sensuality, desire and intimacy without falling back on direct erotic cliché. An editorial choice: poetic suggestion rather than literal illustration, in line with our "adult without trash" stance.
