4. Design and development

The site is designed, developed and maintained by Love in Room's in-house team, using open-source software and duly licensed commercial software.

5. Photo credits

Photographs of accommodations published on listings remain the property of the partner hosts, who provide them as part of their subscription. Editorial visuals (blog covers, illustrations) come from the Unsplash library under a free licence, or are produced by the Love in Room team.

6. Trademark and logo

“Love in Room” and its logo are registered trademarks. Any reproduction, even partial, without prior written authorisation, is strictly forbidden and exposes the author to legal action.

7. Editorial contact

For any question regarding published content (amendments, error reports, removal requests): [email protected]. Listing removal requests, in accordance with Article 14 of the GDPR and our internal policy, are processed within 72 hours maximum.

8. Consumer mediation

In accordance with Articles L. 616-1 and R. 616-1 of the French Consumer Code, Love in Room undertakes to appoint an approved consumer mediator before opening online booking to consumers. The mediator’s details will be published here as soon as they are appointed, and any dispute that has not been resolved amicably may then be submitted to them free of charge.

In accordance with Article 14 of Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, the European Commission also provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform, available at: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Personal data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by a dedicated policy, available at loveinroom.fr/confidentialite.

11. Platform status

Love in Room is a directory and intermediation service within the meaning of Article 6-I-2 of the LCEN, as well as an online platform operator within the meaning of Article L. 111-7 of the French Consumer Code. Love in Room is neither the owner, operator, nor agent of the listed accommodations.

The rental contract is concluded directly between the traveller and the host. Where the host enables online booking, Love in Room facilitates payment for the stay: funds are collected and transferred by the payment provider Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, a licensed payment institution. Love in Room is not a payment institution and collects no commission on stays (0%). Online bookings are governed by the General Booking Terms.
