LoveinRoom

Our story

Finding a Love Room shouldn't be complicated

Love in Room was born from a simple observation: finding a true Love Room in France was often harder than it should be.

Every time we looked for a suite with a private hot tub for a romantic weekend, a couple's anniversary or simply a break for two, we ran into the same problem. The results were scattered across dozens of generalist platforms where romantic accommodations were drowned among thousands of listings that had nothing to do with the experience we were looking for.

A Love Room is not an accommodation like any other. When a couple looks for a romantic suite, a private spa, a themed room or an unusual place to reconnect, they are looking for an experience above all. Yet there was no national directory capable of gathering these romantic accommodations in one single place.

So we decided to create Love in Room.

Our ambition was simple: to build the platform we would have loved to find ourselves. A space entirely dedicated to Love Rooms and romantic getaways, where couples can easily discover accommodations selected for their universe, their amenities and the experiences they offer.

Today, Love in Room lists Love Rooms, suites with private hot tub, unusual stays, chalets with spa, romantic rooms and unique concepts all over France. With search by geolocation, region, department, city, category or amenity, everyone can more easily find the Love Room that matches their desires.

Because in the end, planning a moment for two should be a pleasure. Not an endless search through thousands of listings that don't really answer what you're looking for.

A platform designed for hosts and for guests

Love in Room was built around a simple conviction: hosts of Love Rooms and romantic accommodations deserve to gain visibility without giving up part of their revenue on every booking.

Today, most booking platforms charge a commission on every stay. This commission is usually borne by the host, sometimes by the guest, and in some cases by both. In the end, thousands of euros leave the properties every year to fund intermediaries.

We chose a different approach.

On Love in Room, hosts can receive bookings directly from their own website, by phone, by email or through our online booking platform. Whatever the channel, no commission is charged on the booking.

The host keeps 100% of the sale. The traveller pays exactly the displayed price. No intermediary takes a cut of the stay.

This independence also applies to our outbound links: when you click through to a host's website from Love in Room, the link is bare. No affiliate parameter, no tracking code earning us a hidden commission — the selection cannot be skewed by a margin calculation.

To our knowledge, Love in Room is today one of the only platforms specialised in Love Rooms to offer an online booking system with no commission for the host and no extra fees for the guest.

We prefer to put our energy into growing the visibility of the properties rather than multiplying commissions. Our goal is to create a more balanced ecosystem, where hosts remain in control of their business and travellers can book their romantic accommodation with full transparency.

Because a platform should be a growth partner, not an extra burden.

A solution created for independent hosts

Creating a Love Room is already a challenge. Making it known is often another. That's where Love in Room Studio comes in.

Many hosts don't have their own website and depend mainly on booking platforms or directories that redirect visitors to Airbnb, Booking or other intermediaries with costly commission fees. Others have invested in a personal website, but then have to bear the costs of hosting, maintenance, online booking and calendar synchronisation.

In the end, a professional presence on the internet often costs several hundred, even several thousand euros a year.

Because not every host has the means, the time or the desire to build and maintain a full website, we developed a dedicated-page solution that gives them their own showcase and their own online booking interface, without the technical constraints usually involved.

Our goal is to make digital tools accessible to every property, whether it welcomes a few dozen or several hundred travellers a year.

Through Love in Room Studio, we help hosts present their universe, gain visibility, receive direct bookings with no commission, and take back control of their distribution, without depending exclusively on the big booking platforms.

We believe a host should be able to devote their energy to creating memorable experiences for their guests rather than juggling a multitude of tools, fees and technical constraints.

That's why we built this simple, accessible solution designed around a single goal: helping independent hosts grow their business at a lower cost, while keeping their freedom.
